These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Clare, operated by JQuant Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Clare, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Clare is a research tool that helps parents find information from peer-reviewed studies and published guidelines. Clare is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Clare's answers are based on published research and are intended for informational purposes only. You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional — such as your child's doctor or a registered nurse — for any health concerns about your child. In an emergency, call 911 immediately.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Clare. By using Clare, you confirm that you are an adult and are using the service on your own behalf or as a caregiver for a minor in your care.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in link and session. Do not share your account with others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Credits are consumed based on the complexity of each response. Longer, more research-intensive answers consume more credits than brief responses. The credit cost is shown after each answer.
Refund policy: Credits that have already been consumed are non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue that incorrectly consumed credits, contact us at [email protected] and we will review your case.
You agree not to use Clare to:
Clare's software, design, knowledge base curation, and brand are owned by JQuant Labs. The underlying research articles referenced by Clare remain the property of their respective publishers and authors. You may use Clare's answers for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Clare is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that Clare's answers are complete, accurate, or current. Research evolves — always verify important health decisions with a qualified professional.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JQuant Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Clare, including but not limited to reliance on Clare's answers for medical decisions.
With respect to the Moments journal feature, JQuant Labs is not liable for any loss, corruption, or unauthorised access to journal entries. The Moments feature is provided as a convenience tool. You use it at your own risk and are solely responsible for any content you choose to store. We recommend not using Moments as your sole record of important information.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to your subscription credits until the period ends, after which your account reverts to the free tier.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Clare after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
