Development
Movement Milestones Vary Widely
Your baby's journey to rolling, crawling, and walking will look different from other babies—and that's completely normal. What matters most isn't exactly *how* your baby moves, but that she's exploring and using movement as a tool to discover her world. Some babies scoot, some crawl, some skip crawling altogether and go straight to walking. As long as your baby is reaching toys, chasing you, and getting into everything, she's on the right track. That said, movement in infancy is foundational for development, and some experts suggest monitoring how your baby's movement patterns evolve over time. If you feel like your baby's movement seems noticeably slower than expected, trusting your instincts and mentioning it to your pediatrician is worthwhile. Early support, if needed, really can help.
